Off the shelves

Closed-ended & interval schemes

These schemes do not sit on any of the twenty shelves, because you cannot buy into them the way you buy an open-ended fund. A closed-ended scheme sells units once, during its new fund offer, and then closes; an interval scheme reopens only during short, fixed transaction windows. Most of the funds below are fixed maturity plans, which hold bonds that mature at roughly the same time as the scheme itself.

They are listed here because their data pages exist and are worth reaching. If you hold one, this is where to find its NAV and portfolio. If you are looking for something to invest in today, the open-ended shelves are the relevant place — units in a closed scheme can generally only be bought from another holder on the exchange, where they often trade thinly and at a discount to NAV.
